Devon Hawkins
is an experienced and professional recording and live sound engineer, best known for his work touring as the Front of House engineer for the legendary performing group The Four Tops, and former Production Manager for The Temptations. He completed his recording engineering studies at the Recording Institute of Detroit.
David Arnold Recording Engineer
David is an experienced drummer and music engineer, pushing for an analog sound and a dynamic feel in every project.
David’s music career began before he started junior high school, touring through much of the Midwestern United States, playing as a drummer for multiple groups. His love for music continued into high school and by graduation, he was well-versed in live music production, recording, and mixing, with a specialization in drums. After a mild hiatus to enlist in the US Army, David produced, mixed, and mastered his first full-length album in 2020 for Blue Thorns, which garnered over 11k Streams in just four short months.
David has worked alongside Al Sutton- Producer of Kid Rock, The Sights, and Dead String Brothers, Mac Saturn, to name a few- at Rustbelt Studio, producing and engineering a variety of artists. He produces projects with a heavy punch from the drums and bass, and clarity in the vocals.
As well as being a top-notch producer and music engineer, he is available as a for-hire drummer and will bring his expertise to every show. He is dedicated to every performance, whether it be jazz, rock, blues, or fusion, putting his heart into each song.
In 2021, he received his Associate’s Degree from the Los Angeles Film and Music School- Science of Music Production, with further certifications from the Berklee School of Music.
Travis Williams Audio Engineer/Producer
Masterpiece Studios is proud to offer the services of Travis Williams. Travis is a professional studio engineer with more than 30 years of experience, which includes affordable producing, recording, mixing and mastering. His talents also include songwriting, critique/editing, production consulting, beats, top line, and background track composition/arranging. He has composed music in many genres and styles for music videos and short films. He is able to recreate any track or instrumental needed for sampling. As an artist/producer, Travis has opened up for R&B greats such as Smokey Robinson, Betty Wright, Melba Moore, and Mikki Howard. In 1987 he won the Budweiser Showdown in Detroit. His programming languages include ColdFusion, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, SQL, and MySQL. Travis will also receive a Certificate in Film Making from the Motion Picture Institute in 2020.
